Tranmere Rovers will be launching the UKs first ever Secondary School only esports league starting with local Secondary Schools in the Wirral.
The Esports League will bring an alternative competitive opportunity to students across the country whose interests are not with traditional school competitions.
With not only a competitive pipeline the Esports League offers work experience opportunities for those wanting to explore creative career pathways. We have designed the project for schools to encourage skills such as video editing and graphics design to create their own esports brand.
The 6 schools taking part in the first term are: Calday, Mosslands, Plessington, Ridgeway, South Wirral & Hilbre
Each school will select 3 players for Rocket League and 3 players for FC26. All the students for each game will be split into 3 groups of 6 and each student will play 1 match a week for 5 weeks.
At the end of the 5 week period the top performers will progress into the upper bracket for the live finals and the lower placed students will be placed into the lower bracket.
We are still recruiting more local schools to our league for future terms. To get involved please email haydenc@tranmererovers.co.uk.
